Colorado Power Piano is the online home of Howard and Karen Pancoast. Please take a tour of our website to find many resources both for musicians and music lovers.

Although we are composers and performers, we simply LOVE to teach piano. Between us, we have about 100 students. We focus our piano lessons on adults and teens. This is our full-time business, and we’re very good at it. We offer piano lessons in a variety of styles; jazz, improvisation, classical, pop, sacred, ragtime, and show tunes. Our students learn to improvise and play from a lead sheet or fake book as well as reading written music. To learn more about our piano lessons, click HERE.

Most of the recorded selections are solo piano performances by either Howard Pancoast or Karen Pancoast. Others recordings include piano-duo performances by Howard and Karen.

We have several CDs available for purchase as well. Our most popular album is Christmas Sugar and Spice. We also have Powerful Fantasies and Enchanted Journey which match printed books of our original compositions.
